While I do not take insurance, I can provide you with a superbill which you may be able to submit to your insurance provider as an expense toward your deductible. Your insurance plan may include partial or full reimbursement for private pay mental health services. This policy varies by insurer, so please ask your insurance company what benefits are for mental health care and out-of-network providers.
Additionally, counseling qualifies as an expense you may pay for with an HSA/MSA.
Payment methods:
Cash, all major credit cards, and HSA cards are accepted for payment.
Payment must be made at time of service.
A typical counseling session lasts for 50 minutes.
Requesting an appointment is easy - and just a click away. Clicking on the "Request an Appointment" tab above and follow the prompts to request an appointment. We respond to your request within 24 hours.
The relationship between the counselor and client is foundational to a successful therapy experience, so this first session will primarily focus on getting to know you better and understanding what brings you to counseling. You will have ample opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the counseling process. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and at ease so you can fully engage in the counseling journey.

Counseling isn't just for the SERIOUS stuff and shouldn't be seen as a last-resort. In reality, most of us can benefit from counseling for a variety of reasons - and many more:
Life is hard. We have many competing demands. The stress of trying to keep up with everything can catch up with us. We can start to experience physical and psychological symptoms related to the stress. Counseling can provide you with some of the skills to manage your stress and improve your overall health. Counseling can equip you with new tools to improve your relationships.
Most research shows that the best therapeutic outcomes are achieved through a combination of both therapy and medication. A session with a counselor can be a good starting point for discussing potential benefits or concerns related to taking medication, although in most cases, prescriptions are issued by medical professionals.
While medication can provide relief from some symptoms, it does not necessarily address many underlying maladaptive behaviors. In other words, medication is often viewed as a complement to treatment rather than the primary mode of treatment itself. Many mental health conditions are treated with the use of psychotropic medications—those that influence a person’s mental state, such as antidepressants—as a treatment option and a complement to talk therapy.
